Also, I have found some free shredding events in the Des Moines metro area. These don’t come around very often so please take advantage of them :)

Check out these Ball Bungee Cords!
This is a great way to store your large outdoor extension cords!
Just wrap the bungee around the extension cord, loop one end of the bungee through the other end and hang on a hook :)
Let’s get rid of some paper clutter!
The biggest question I get when helping clients sort through paperwork is what to keep and for how long. Here is a chart with guidelines on how long to hold onto documents.
Remember when you are discarding paper that it is important to shred documents with your social security number or account numbers on them.
If you do a quick online search, you can usually find a free shred day in the month of April or May. This makes spring a great time to clean through your files!
